From crop planning and scouting to advanced custom application, United Cooperative agronomy locations in Deerfield, Hartford, Johnson Creek, Mayville, Pickett, Prairie du Sac, Reedsburg, and South Beaver Dam can serve all your agronomy needs, even if it means stepping in to serve when the competition drops the ball.

The experienced and award-winning professional agronomy team at United Cooperative offers a full line of seed, including Croplan Genetics®, Asgrow®, DeKalb®, NK®, and Mycogen® brands of corn, soybean, alfalfa, wheat, and forages. Agronomists are stationed throughout south-central Wisconsin, and are always willing to help you make cost efficient plant food recommendations to result in bigger yields (photo at right: Jim Gulke, United Cooperative agronomy specialist, visits with Ted Peters, from Rubicon, about his soybeans.).

More than 90,000 tons of liquid and dry fertilizer storage and cutting-edge equipment greatly enhances the effectiveness and timeliness of the agronomy services mentioned above. The United Cooperative agronomy division maintains quality equipment for spraying, spreading, delivery, soil sampling, grid-soil sampling, test stand calibration, etc., and is always looking for new ways to better serve your needs (photo at right: spinner spreader truck).

Education

Every year, the agronomy division staff attend seminars and manage test plots to help provide our patron members with the most modern information on seed, seed treatments, genetic families, new trait technology, etc.

Annually, in late summer, United Cooperative hosts plot tours at our South Beaver Dam location (pictured at right). Visitors listen to seed and forage specialists talk about the latest in crop protection and seed products.
